I see the event is "sold out," anyone know how many people are considered capacity? We had a glitch with our cards and were unable to book for our Feb Trip.

That's hard to figure. From the description, it sounds like only parts of the MK are open for this, so that makes it more difficult to estimate as well. It probably was up to DVC how many people they wanted to pay MK for to have this event. Park capacity before the hub redesign and new fantasyland used to be around 75,000, now I think it's a bit more. I think it's reasonable to assume that DVC made the event to be up to 50,000, but that would be an upper figure, and it's probably less. We're guesstimating here, but probably somewhere between 25,000 and 50,000. I know all the WDW studios and most 1 bedrooms are sold for that first night, so when you start to do the math...

I'd be very, very surprised if they are even close to having that many for the event. It's only Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and HM. And they are providing some sort of refreshments.

I'm looking forward to going, even though I have no idea what they will be doing. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that refreshments may be served at the Tomorrowland Terrace?, since that seems like the logical place, and perhaps a Monsters Dance party with DJ, since most parties have some sort of DJ. ??
Guess I'll have to wait and see.

most of the studios were sold out before the announcement - did not look at 1-bedrooms so don't know about them.

I live about an hour to 90 minutes from WDW so definitely going next week.

It will be fun to meet other members of DVC!

I am not staying in a DVC resort the night of March 3 but am a local going with 5 others.
I am sure that there are other local DVC members going that do not have a reservation.

we too are local's family of 6 and when we looked into a room we had to go with a two bedroom at SSR never stayed at this one and we love going to Disney springs so it was a win win for us Our little one thinks we're just going up to hung out at the resort she's going to be so happy when we get on the bus to MK! We are going on March 3rd! We haven't been in a park in YEARS!

We really enjoyed the event. Lots of characters, Ride lines were not bad, so many cookies, great fireworks.

Tomorrowland, fantasyland and the haunted mansion were open for rides.

We had a great time as well. I didn't think it was crowded. Lots of food everywhere. If you saw a line, just go around the corner and there won't be. Characters were good, fireworks were good. We thought it was a great event.

Any thing to drink being given away?
Are any of the restaurants or quick service locations open?
I will be going on Mar 3 and DW needs to eat ever 3 hours.

Sugar & Chocolate Chip Cookies and Potato Chips (several varieties)
Ice Cream (mickey bars, sandwiches, frozen fruit bars)
Water, Lemonade & Hot Chocolate

Only Cosmic Rays was open during event.

Wife and I went in feb. Very nice event with fabulous fireworks. Would love to go again.
