DVC merchandise and dining discounts?

Hi! Currently I am an associate member on my dad's membership, but we are in the process of transferring the deed to me and my brothers- just waiting on DVC to process. (My mom passed in December 2015, so my dad wanted to give us the membership since he said he wouldn't go by himself only with us.). I'm going to WDW in a month or so without him. Can we use their membership cards for discounts if the transfer is not processed yet and I haven't received my card yet?

No, you need a blue card with name that matches your picture ID.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, but as the PP said you need your card and a picture ID to take advantage of the discounts. If the transfer goes thru in time, you can go on the DVC site and get a digital card sent to your phone.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if you needed a photo I'd, but that makes sense. Hopefully it will be processed quickly.
