Will be headed down soon and my digital card still shows ND…..have they fixed this yet for resale buyers who are grandfathered in? Anyone seen theirs in correctly if they are grandfathered?

Mine isn't fixed yet; I figured I'd reach out in February since last I spoke with tech support he said it'd take a few weeks....a few weeks ago.

There is a report that someone did the re entering of the phone number and it now has changed.

But don’t know if that means it’s started to fix itself or that was just an isolated incident.

As of today at least you can still print temp cards with a 2-27-2022 expiration date. That plus your blue physical card should work after they ask to see the digital one.

I'm going with isolated incident, mine still isn't indicating properly. :guilty:

Purchased resale in 2009 and grandfathered. Just uploaded my card still ND. I deleted the card from the wallet.
Hope this gets fixed shortly but I doubt it.

I thought they may have resolved it. Mine was showing DVC Y and the Disney Visa, but I don't have the Visa (my wife does, but I am not an AU so it shouldn't show for me regardless). The Disney Visa dropped off and it just has DVC Y. Made me think they finally got things straightened out, sad to hear it isn't for everyone.

They seem to have remove Disney Visa abs Castaway club from everyone.

The fact that it’s still not fixed it would seem that the flexibility at the parks should continue.

If I was DVC ND but eligible, I’d just be prepared to have the digital temporary card and the MM set up so one can at least show both

They also seem to have removed So Cal Resident (which I thinK was represented as "GEOGRAPH" or something similar) as well. Hopefully that means they're trying to collate from fewer disparate databases.

We are FL residents and my partners MagicMobile Pass temporarily had the "GEOGRAPHIC" affiliation.

My guess is it serves to identify those who qualify for either of the two geographic location discounts: Florida Residents and Southern California Residents.

My profile in MDE has always listed my state of residency with the notation "We've added this recognition, based on your address. View Special Offers just for you!" The "special offers" haven't been specific to my state - currently, they're for Disney cruises, and some are for Florida and even Canada but not for my state!

Gotta be a local, sorry...

There has to be some correlation though, as mine says "Southern California Resident" and not "California Resident", and here in So Cal we do get specific deals not available to the entire state (unlike Florida).

Is there actually a virtual card in the app? All mine says in my profile is "DVC Member." I don't see any of this status stuff everybody's talking about under my profile, and don't see anywhere else logically it would be. I have a blue (I think. I'm colorblind. sigh) DVC card in my Apple Wallet. Maybe I put it there in the app when this all happened. I really don't remember putting it there though so that concerns me. LOL

Anyway, it shows no status either aside from being simple and blue (Again, I think. As opposed to white with an annotation of some sort, I Assume?).

The DVC digital card is really the Magic Mobile pass, which is added to wallet or Google Pay. The design doesn't matter...it does not have to be the DVC one. It not something unique. You can see the affiliations that you are eligible for discounts when you go into Wallet (or Google Pay) and click on the three dots at the top (or details on Google) and it brings up those and the QR code.

So, if you had already added Magic Mobile to your wallet prior to this, then you should be all set. It is only in Wallet that you will see it. It does not show up anywhere else.

I think this is why some are confused. There is really no more blue or white cards. It is DVC Y or DVC ND. As I mention, I can choose one of the non DVC designs for my MM pass and it would still be my DVC card for the lounge and discounts because you have to show the details piece and not the front of the card.

As a Central FL Resident, mine never had the "GEOGRAPHIC" notation.

Interesting. In the other big thread there were quite a few folks in FL with the GEOGRAPHIC notation, so I'm wondering if that was another glitch.
