While using the new member’s website I wanted to request information from member services so I sent an email. I noticed today that I received a reply from the Postmaster (postmaster@disney.com) that the mail was undeliverable. I resent the email today and got the same results. Any suggestions, other than calling? Has anyone else had this problem with the new site?

Just curious: what email address was generated for the message you tried to send to member services? I sent them email about a month ago and the address that was generated was: members@disneyvacationclub.com You could try sending an email yourself using that address and see if it makes it through.

From the /dvc/member/memberHome page I went to “My Profile”

Clicked on “contact” next to the “logout” at the top of the page which took me to the
“Contact Member Services” on which I clicked and that took me to the contact page which had most of the boxes filled in (name, email address) I had to enter my member number, subject and message then I hit “enter” and away it went. That is when I got the message. I did not have to enter the email address.

Sorry I should have stated that you need to look at the non-delivery notice that you received from Postmaster@disney.com. The text of that message should list the address that it attempted to deliver to.

I had the same thing happen. The address listed on delivery failed notification was: eiad.x.makled.-nd@dig.com This is a strange email address so I am thinking they don't quite have bugs worked out on the new site. I used members@disneyvacationclub.com and my email went through.
I thought that sounded familiar so I did a google search and found this post: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1320267&referrerid=93883 from January where the same thing was happening. Looks like a developer stuck a bogus address in there for testing purposes and then forgot to reinstate the correct address before putting the webpage up.

My message was from Postmaster [postmaster@disney.com]

and it stated

Your message was not delivered to the following recipients:

eiad.x.makled.-nd@dig.com: 550 5.1.1 <eiad.x.makled.-nd@dig.com>... User Unknown

If you feel that you have received this non-delivery notice in error, please contact the intended recipient by phone to confirm their address.
(original address: rfc822;eiad.x.makled.-nd@dig.com)
