Hey all on the solo thread!!!
I bought into DVC over 10 years ago because I've been going to WDW every year since 1984 and LOVE going...
Well, my wife and I have been together since 2001 and use our points to visit WDW for long weekends, travel on DCL, etc... I'm planning about 4 3-day weekend trips for 2012 to basically use some points in addition to other longer trips to Europe and Mexico...
However, I had made mention of this and she is very upset having to go 'back there' a few times next year. Here's the thing... When we go, we never go to the parks... I'm planning on times when the F&G festival, F&W and holidays are ongoing...
All I can tell on her dislike for the place is that she feels bad seeing families spend so much $$ on vacations there... In addition, going there bores her...
Do any other of you guys get the same things from your significant others?? I would have no issue going to the parks solo but it's tough, especially since I have a number of points that would basically make me need to visit at least a few times during the year...
