DVC member website

Just thought of something. The CP dinner packages went on sale this morning. Might have crashed the server.

Possible-on hold with member service tech support now but wait time is greater than 20 mins
 
I got the same problem too. I hope it gets fixed by Saturday. That's the date I need to check on my 7 mo reservation.

Definitely possible. Just tried to book a dining reservation on line (non CP dinner package) and received a : Server is Busy message.

A bad morning for Disney IT.
 

I've had this problem for a couple of weeks now. It's unimaginable that no one at MS or tech support knows why this is happening. I've even gotten so far as to get a new activation code, which works when I'm on the phone with tech support (of course), and then the next time I go to log in I get the same "link your accounts" page.
 
Just got off the phone with them. They just put this in place today, they are linking everything with my disney experiance. You have to use your activation code, if you don't have it call to get it,but not now, the computers are down. They are going to be swamped with the CP bookings and now this. BTW I had my original activation code and ID and it doesn't work. Don't know who is running their IT but he should be shot, or transferred to the IRS.

Between the CP bookings this morning (which was a nightmare btw) and now this, I am so aggravated.

When is Disney going to come into this millennium with their IT department??????

I think MS was wrong. I finally logged into dvcmember.com without having to link anything. I know they WANT us to link them but still don't have to do so.

BTW, I agree Disney's IT is terrible.

Thanks for posting. It's working for me too. i'm really ready to pull my hair out this morning. Since 6 am, I've been dealing with Disney's websites in one form or another. :/
 
I just got on and did some searches. working now for the time being
 
Happened to me weeks ago- and there was a cancel button at the bottom of the screen if I chose not to link things. I will have to check again today.....

The cancel button is still there but it doesn't solve the problem. When you login it takes you to the link screen. If you cancel it takes you back to the beginning of the login process
 
I couldn't log in earlier today...called disney and they said there were issues with,the website and it should be fixed soon...just tried and I was able to log on...:goodvibes
 
It happened to me as well this am. I was actually happy because I thought that I might have gotten pixie dust way early as my resale contract passed ROFR last week and by some miracle my points were already loaded in. Bummer.

I did call, but the wait was over 15 minutes.
 
trying to do online check in...cant find the server..then reservation is in someone else's name.....then it cant retrieve a resort reservation at this time....

have been having issues with my Disney experience for the last 4 nights (Australia time, day time USA)..so ringing from australia every time i want to do something is expensive and crazy!

I'm done with this.....no dining resi's are linked, my AP numbers no matter how many times i scan it in wont stay linked...

this whole site sucks!:crazy2:
 
This happened to me the first time (about 6 months ago) and I tried to use the activation code that they gave me. Not sure what it did, it didn't join my disney and DVC accounts, it just stopped that screen from appearing for a little while. Usually trying a different browser or using an incognito session of your browser does the trick.
 
I just rang member services and the lovely lady got me to my online check in for BWV thru

mydisneyreservation/dvc
then click on the dvc member link at the bottom..

I really dont like the my disney experience..its shouldnt be this hard.
