Is anyone having trouble with this site(dvcmember.com). For the past week I cant get it to work. The partial page loads then goes blank and says "we're sorry the page your are trying to access is currently unavailable". I tried calling member services but they had not clue and couldnt direct my call. Does anyone have a clue who I can contact to fix this. I want to view my current res and print them, check my points and do all the things I need from this site. Thanks

This has been reported in one way, shape, or form by several people in the different areas here on DIS. Member services is aware of the problem -- God knows, enough of us have called them! :) -- but they don't seem to be as aware of how to fix the problem.

Beside partially loading, many people have reported the DVC site telling them that they are not recognized and trying to force them to register again.

All I can say is to keep trying. As many times as the site is down, it is up again as well.

Good luck!

According to the web site, I'm still missing 327 VWL points. I have reported it multilpe times, and I'm getting frustrated.

Outside of that, I have your problem everytime I go to the site. I found that if I log out, then log back in, all is well.

Than again, I'm the furthest thing from a computer guru that is in existence. :teeth:

I just logged on with no problem. I also checked my points with no problem. I had a problem in the past when i used Firefox as my browser; when i switched to Interner Explorer everything was fine. Hope this helps.

Maybe thats my problem, I am using firefox(have a mac) and was wondering if the mac had something to do with it. I am so far from being cumputer savvy it not even funny. Thanks so much, let me see if i can switch browsers.

Its not the browser that is the problem - its the web site. I had this problem a few days ago, but yesterday it was working correctly. (I use a Mac and either Firefox or Safari.)

IMHO, Disney's web site(s) are some of the worst designed sites on the internet. They think they are in the entertainment business (yes, I know they are), but when I go to their web site I'm looking for information. Rather than give quick/easy access to information, Disney thinks we all want to wait for their flash based animation to load and play. They give you the option to turn off the sound, but that option doesn't stick between different sections of their site. The bury the information behind multiple screens rather than making a direct link to it available on the top level.

I use a Mac, too, and am not having any problems using Safari. Give that a try and see if it helps. Good luck!

I've also been told that if you have a separate disney web sign on that was not merged with your dvc sign on you may have problems/conflicts.

There is somethings you need to do first. What windows op are you using. Did you clear your cookies and temp files ? did you reset your mod ?

Im going to try safari next--thanks for all the help.Im keeping my fingers crossed:thumbsup2

If you're getting to the page with the Snow White and Dwarfs banner image, look just above the image and you should see a link labeled "Member Login." Click on that link and it should take you into the site.

I've been getting that same error message ("The page you are trying to access is currently not available") for months. Clicking on the Member Login link (almost) always gets me right into the site.

Another Mac user having no problems with Safari... I have to agree with the poster concerning Disney sites. Enough with all the Flash animation. A little goes a long way, no need to overdo it, especially on a site for DVC members who just want to grab a bit of info regarding their account. I can't click on the close button fast enough when the Animal Kingdom animation starts! :surfweb:

Thanks so much to everyone for all the help. I switched to Safari and what do ya know--NO MORE PROBLEMS!!!!Yeah:yay:

I have that same issue sometimes. For some reason - logging in gets me to the 'we're sorry' page, and when I click on member login at the top right - I am suddenly logged in without having to do the login and password again, and I see my DVC page. This happens on mac AND pc. I think its a strange way to log in.
Good luck -
