DVC Member Vacation Detail Record Problem

In my account on the DVC member Website I noticed on the Vacation Details page that all of the vacations I have taken since January 15 of 2011 are recorded as "Vacation points used 0." Printouts that I have prior to this date always showed how many points were used for past completed vacations. I called and asked a DVC rep to explain this and she said the policy for DVC is to put 0 on the record after the vacation is taken. This was never the case before. So far my total points remaining is correct. Can anyone else explain what is going on with the online record system. It seems they have changed the system
 
All of our completed vacations show the actual point cost. I have had some show as zero. If they show zero, it's a glitch on the website. As long as your available points is correct, I wouldn't worry about it.
 
I agree the main thing is to get make sure your point totals are correct, but it seems to me that DVC needs to make sure their system is working correctly or there may eventually be mistake in the records where things go against the individual member. DVc has always done a good job with my records - I just want to keep it that way.
 
I've had that happen, too, but my points available for use are always correct. It amazes me that a company that does so many things so well has so much problem with its interactive websites. :confused3
 

After telephoning the DVC member number twice and getting no good explanation or any results as to why my account showed zero points being used on the vacation details screen for my last 3 trips, I emailed DVC member services and pointed out the error and the fact that points used for completed vacations had always showed up on my record before this year. 1 week later (today) I received an email reply from DVC acknowledging that the points used on member website "vacation details screen" should agree with the points used on the "points activity statement" on the member website. I am not sure if this was a system wide error that they corrected, or just a correction to my individual account. I am pleased with their response and to know that DVC was interested in correcting the record. This situation highlights the need to keep an eye on our records on the DVC member website. Mistakes can be made by the DVC system, and they may not always be harmless errors as this one was.
 
After we returned from our trip in June, I looked at the Member site and saw I still had 118 points to use for this UY. I thought I had used them all. Then I realized that it was the exact same amount as our last night. We were there while they were doing the computer upgrade and everything was messed up while we were there. I pointed it out to them and they said I was correct and did not have any points left in this UY.
 
Not surprised, my last 3 vacations have zeros on the points used. Frustrates the heck out of me.
Now I just keep a count on my book and check every now and then to make sure we have the right points left.
