There is a maximum occupancy they can not exceed, so checking out helps them regulate how many people are up there.

A CM told me that if you save a virtual pic of your membership card on your iPhone, that works with ID as well. I hope this is true as we don't have our cards yet.

That is correct. The only issue is when you come across the unfortunate CM that doesn't read the bulletin board backstage and isn't aware that the digital card is now acceptable. Fortunately, that's getting less and less common, but it's still bound to happen from time to time.

We visited the member lounge 2 days ago. It is nice, not crowded. I can't for the life of me understand though why this lounge has no restroom access. I know there's plenty of restrooms on property, just weird. I also noticed they had a CM with a card offering snacks (chips, gummies, granola bars). We were never offered any. I know I could have asked. I didn't want any, just an observation. Then, you have to let them know you're leaving!

They come around about every 30 minutes or so with the cart and are supposed to go all the way around the lounge but if you come in half way through them circulating and go to where they have already been they would skip you. If they came out after you were already there then they just missed you.

My daughter loved access to a computer with her favorite online game Roblox as we did not allow her to access it on the laptop we brought with us.

From what I understand the lounge is a DVD PR temporary venue. It is used as a talking point perk for guides to mention when doing a sales presentation and as a PR item to make us feel better about DVC/Disney. It is funded from the DVD marketing budget and not from dues or DVCMC.

There are restrooms to the right of the entrance to Imagination . The entrances are on the outside of the building. They would be the closest to the lounge. I only know they are there because that is where we had a pit stop on a segway tour years ago.
