It does, but it doesn't. Yes, water park tickets and annual passes are listed. But, otherwise, the "discounts" are vague references (emphasis added):The rest of the document following the paragraph that was quoted lists pretty much everything currently available. Future offerings will most likely have the legibility spelled as part of the discount, offer and/or special event.
Yeah, I'm new to the whole DVC thing and thought I had to show my DVC card to buy the magic band. My mom really wanted one that lights up, lol! His whole tune changed when I showed him my AP with my name half worn off in Sharpie, because apparently those are fool proof! I just know its going to be miserable in July and my mom has one of those big black boot things on her foot (waiting on foot surgery), so we wanted to use the lounge as a cool off spot in Epcot for her to rest. I still have 3 weeks, so its possible I might have a card by then but who knows! We also may use it for some restaurant discounts while we are there so I'm hoping its a better experience than my first experience showing my card was. It was not a good first impression. Now I really wish I had taken the guys name, but I was just so shocked (had never been treated that way by a CM before) that I got out of there in a hurry.Ah yes, the digital membership card again. You must have come across a relative of Paul, who we had the same unfortunate response to the digital id card.
I'm sure it will be completely fine at the lounge.
In the future, call member services (the next day is fine if inconvenient or after hours). They'll retroactively apply any discount you should have received. Be sure to get the name, location, and time of the encounter too so they can address it. They DO follow up immediately on these things, and my call hopefully provided a better experience for the next DVC members that encountered Paul for a $6 discount on some grossly overpriced merchandise.
It would be nice, but DVD/DVC has given no indication of future plans regarding member lounges. Are there plans to offer member lounges in any other parks?
. Since most folks argue that everyone should still have a access to TOTWL, and probably the 10% merchandise discount, the ID cards still seem necessary..
The OP was asking about the Member Lounge in Epcot which does not require an on-site reservation in order to access the lounge.you must be staying on WDW property in a WDW resort and be a current DVC member to have access to TOTWL.
There were no restrooms in the space originally. So it's likely there isn't any of the necessary plumbing in the immediate area to tie into to create restrooms.I can't for the life of me understand though why this lounge has no restroom access. I know there's plenty of restrooms on property, just weird.
Thanks for the info. I assumed there would be restrooms! We visited the member lounge 2 days ago. It is nice, not crowded. I can't for the life of me understand though why this lounge has no restroom access. I know there's plenty of restrooms on property, just weird. I also noticed they had a CM with a card offering snacks (chips, gummies, granola bars). We were never offered any. I know I could have asked. I didn't want any, just an observation. Then, you have to let them know you're leaving!
It's always been advertised as temporary. It's just for the 25th anniversary year.Serving drinks and snacks without a restroom seems strange to me. It make me think this lounge is just a temporary perk.
