Prior to the Annual Pass discounted ticket, DVC members were offered a Length of Stay ticket. Can anyone tell me if discounted tickets, of any kind, are offered family members staying with DVC Members? I have grand kids coming in November and am looking for the best ticket price…so far it id our local Disney Store. :confused3

DVC members only get discounts on AP or PAPs. And only for family members who live at the same address as the DVC member.

No LOS ticket any more, so no discount on these.

Subscribe to the mousesavers newsletter. www.mousesavers.com. Mary has special deals with Ticketmania and one of the other vendors for discounted tickets. Don't save a ton, but its cheaper than prepurchase through Disney.

Just a note. MYW tickets are cheaper than the LOS tickets were even after you subtracted the 10% discount from the LOS.

I didn't know you could get 10% off the MYW tickets!
Can someone please post more info on this?

You can't. Wtpclc was just saying the the LOS tickets (even with the 10% DVC discount) were more expensive than the new MYW tickets.

Best wishes -

Soory, I'll have to eidt my post to make it less confusing. The price of former LOS passes minus the 10% is still more that the current price of teh MYW tickets. So, MYWs are a good deal. Sorry to mislead you.

Ohhhhhhh.....n/p Carrie. I was all excited there for a minute! LOL!
I am researching ticket prices right now, since we are going to BWV 9/15-9/22.
So are the MYW tix online through Disney the best/cheapest way to go?

Check the brokers. www.ticketmania.com is where I got my MYW tickets through (using the mousesavers discount, but you are probably late to subscribe, get the newsletter, and qualify for the discount). But there are several brokers out there(mousesavers does list several on their site - the budget board will be a wealth of information on who has the best deal on tickets). Watch shipping and tax costs when comparing prices. But advance is preferable to at the door.

I just called AAA for my area (southern new england) and all they have to offer is the 5-day, non-expiring, park hopper MYW pass. It doesn't include the magic + privileges of going to the water parks or Dis Quest, which we do like to visit. And they ONLY sell for 5 days, nothing else.
The price was $260/adult plus shipping.

You'll have to check. Different AAAs have different tickets available at different rates. It may not be worth checking - you may be talking $2 a ticket. Our 10 day no expiry adult hoppers with pluses were $358 this year, including tax and shipping.

FloridaOrlandoTickets.net has the 10 day adult, non expiring, with 5 pluses for $350.50. The OfficialTicketCenter.com is $351.00. Both include Tax.
You can pick them up on your way in from the airport, or they will deliver them to your resort. You can have them mailed to you also, I believe for a fee.
I've used both without a problem
