DVC Member Cruise

The Member Cruise officially canceled. Wonder is on her way to the Panama Canal.

It doesn't sound like people on the cruise will get early booking to 2021. Or, perhaps more directly, it doesn't sound like DVC/DCL know what they're going to do. But the current 2021 MC is a Western Caribbean, and this seems to recognize that people may have wanted this one based on it being AK.

Dear Disney Vacation Club Member,
As you may have heard, the Canadian government has extended its decision to not allow cruise ships to dock in Canadian ports through October 31. This unfortunately requires Disney Cruise Line to cancel its 2020 Alaskan sailings departing from the port of Vancouver, which includes the Aug. 24-31, 2020, Member Cruise for which you have a reservation. Disney Vacation Club is finalizing options, which will include a future Alaska Member Cruise Sailing, that we’ll share with you soon.
Given the higher than normal call volume at Member Services, we ask that you wait to contact Member Services until after you receive a follow up email from us as our Advisors will not be able to assist you until details have been finalized.
While all of us at Disney Vacation Club cherish the opportunity to enjoy Member Cruise voyages with you and are deeply disappointed by this year’s cancelation, we’re as committed as ever to this great tradition and look forward to creating more Member Cruise magic for years to come.
Again, we’ll be back in touch soon to share more information about your 2020 Member Cruise reservation. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding, and for being part of our community.
Sincerely,
Disney Vacation Club

From the DVC homepage: The Alaska Member cruise is now 29 Aug - 5 Sep 2022. There's a FAQ with a few questions. Here's the general info.
I have a 2020 Member Cruise reservation. What are my options?

We have coordinated another Alaska Member cruise in 2022 onboard the Disney Wonder, departing from Vancouver, B.C. and sailing from August 29 to September 5, 2022. If you’d like to sail with us then, we will automatically move your 2020 Member Cruise reservation to the same stateroom aboard this newly scheduled 2022 sailing at no extra charge. If joining us for our 2022 Alaska Member cruise is not an option, you can receive a refund including reimbursement of any cash and/or the return of any Reservation Points used for your reservation.

^same price is great if it works into people’s schedule. :boat:

Not on DCL, but we cancelled a Princess cruise to Alaska this year, and rescheduled it for next year for just about the same price. However, I would think by 2022, prices would rise.

This is the info I was waiting for: Booking for 2021 Member Cruise is 8 Aug.

Can I still book the 2021 Member Cruise?

Yes! Member Services will begin taking reservations on August 8 for our previously announced 2021 Member Cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida to Castaway Cay and Cozumel aboard the Disney Fantasy from June 12 to June 17, 2021.
