The Member Cruise officially canceled. Wonder is on her way to the Panama Canal.
It doesn't sound like people on the cruise will get early booking to 2021. Or, perhaps more directly, it doesn't sound like
DVC/
DCL know what they're going to do. But the current 2021 MC is a Western Caribbean, and this seems to recognize that people may have wanted this one based on it being AK.
Dear Disney Vacation Club Member,
As you may have heard, the Canadian government has extended its decision to not allow cruise ships to dock in Canadian ports through October 31. This unfortunately requires Disney Cruise Line to cancel its 2020 Alaskan sailings departing from the port of Vancouver, which includes the Aug. 24-31, 2020, Member Cruise for which you have a reservation. Disney Vacation Club is finalizing options, which will include a future Alaska Member Cruise Sailing, that we’ll share with you soon.
Given the higher than normal call volume at Member Services, we ask that you wait to contact Member Services until after you receive a follow up email from us as our Advisors will not be able to assist you until details have been finalized.
While all of us at Disney Vacation Club cherish the opportunity to enjoy Member Cruise voyages with you and are deeply disappointed by this year’s cancelation, we’re as committed as ever to this great tradition and look forward to creating more Member Cruise magic for years to come.
Again, we’ll be back in touch soon to share more information about your 2020 Member Cruise reservation. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding, and for being part of our community.
Sincerely,
Disney Vacation Club
