DVC Member Cruise ~ August 24, 2015

Bobbi...so excited for you! We definitely need to meet up and chat for awhile this cruise!!!

Yep! Heading down the 21st! Staying at Lodge one night then moving to Polynesian to check it out then on to cruise!

We will be at Poly for 5 nights before cruise. We will be at TTOTW lounge Sunday night before the cruise, plenty of opportunities to meet!:)

Yay Bobbi! Will be in touch! Also...Fellow Disers and DVCers....l…ok..now that we are so much closer… Still looking to meet some new DVC unattached people! Looking for like minded DVC friends that like to travel with DVC! Would love to meet up on this cruise for possible future traveling! lol I am traveling with a buddy on this cruise that travels frequently with me as well! We would love to meet other single, not so young (but not old either!!) DVC travelers!!!

We are back from the DVC member cruise to Alaska, and thought I would pop into your thread to say how great things were for us, and wish you the same. Incredible weather and sight seeing, fabulous gifts, wonderful FE participation, and first rate entertainment made for a wonderful cruise. Not sure if it was new this time, but we also received souvenir menus every night. We saw the Pixar movies of Lava and Inside/Out, not even in theaters yet. We saw Wonderland and Monkey Kingdom. Cinderella and Into the Woods, and so many more were playing, too. My favorite show (again) was the Broadway one, with Dreams as my 2nd favorite. Meeting DVC members from all over was a great deal of fun. Clayton was a great Cruise Director, and everyone made sure there was plenty of fun and games all week. Bring an extra carry on bag, even if they will probably give one as a gift, there always seems to be so much to pack to go home.

Sounds wonderful!

The Broadway show has always been the highlight of each MC for me, I hope we get one in August!

Our first Disney cruise! First cruise of any kind actually! :-) Hope it is not too late to sign up for a FE group?! We are confused on how to join! Can someone help? Thank you!

Cindy, (guessing that might be your name). as someone new to the Disboards, you have to have 10 posts before you can send me a pm (private message). There is a section of the board where you can post 'hi' 10 separate times and then be at the amount you are authorized to be able to send and receive messages.

Welcome back! We did Alaska a year ago this week and it was amazing. Can't imagine it with all the special DVC exclusive stuff.

Thanks for letting us know how wonderful your cruise went! I loved Alaska when we went in 2013 and can imagine it would be even better on a Member cruise! So glad to hear you had had a Great Cruise!
Did you see any Bears? I have heard they are out early this year and was wondering if anyone saw any. I Love Bears! We saw tons of wildlife on our Cruise.

Thanks for the tip!

Will be traveling with our three teens! Last family vacation before biggest son's senior year!

I don't suppose making them do homework on the cruise will make me Avery popular mom!

Seems like We are pretty new to Disney compared to many of you! Two visits to DW and one to DL. But addicted already!

I am frequent victim of car sickness. How does this translate on a ship? I am a bit nervous about it!
