DVC Member Cruise ~ August 24, 2015

"THINKING" of getting in on the fun on a Member Cruise for '16...
I know this is VERY VERY EARLY but here are my 2 questions:
1. First opportunity to book for '16 cruise will be in mid June, 2015 correct?
2. It was mentioned on these boards, that August is not "etched in stone" for Member Cruises and it "may change for '16". Is this correct? Wasn't the Member Cruises in the past October?

For those cruising in '15, HAVE A GREAT TIME!

I believe they have typically been in September with many complaining that they couldn't take kids out of school This year with having one in May for Alaska and one in August for a double dip to CC I think they've not completely filled the ships yet. (just and FYI). so in other words, no idea what they'll decide next year.

Looking at this year's times, fireworks began 10 PM....so the meet up could start any time from 8:30 on.

This year, I did not get up until closer to 8:45 and we were able to get seated with a Disboard family, but there were not many empty seats around the place.

Jersey gal, The only answer that I know is that August is definitely not etched in stone as the time for the Bahamanian Member cruise. I have sailed on a MC in January, August and September.

Who knows if they'll do another MC Alaska cruise?. This one is in May, and it's not sold out, does that mean they won't attempt it again? I did hear people asking about a 7 night Caribbean MC. DVC did not give any real answers as far as I heard.

Cold and Windy in MO - Hope to get some kids - don't want the candy in the house as I will eat it! ( already am!). I only had 10 last year - used to get over 100 - they have all grown up!
How is everything going? I started a new job this week and have been swamped!

How has your week been? How is your therapy going? I hope it is helping you!! When will you know about the knee replacement?
Another busy week for me! I don't have anything planned this week-end - so not sure what I will do. I cooked a turkey last night (a small one) - and thought I should plan my Thanksgiving menu since that will be here before long. My DD has a bday Tue - so need to get that wrapped up - have the gifts - Just need to find out what kind of cake to make her.
We only had 5 kids for Halloween - so sad = so much left over candy. We all have been taking care of it!
