For those who have debated and toyed with the idea, the last day to sign up to participate in the FE (Fish Extender gift exchange) is July 10th! The groups will close and emails will be sent to each member giving you the info for those in your group only. I will share the names and cabin numbers and any 'other' info that was shared, (i.e. allergies, etc). I will BCC so that each others email addresses are NOT given out, I am a firm believer in you having control over who emails you.

Happy 4th July Week-end ! I hope everyone enjoys their Independence Day! I plan on spending mine working on my cruise FE gifts , magnets for my door, and maybe making my t-shirts. Getting close so I need to get it in gear. Since they are still calling for more rain I don't have any outdoor plans. I sure wish the rain would let up - so soggy around here. My daughter is going camping and for the life of me I don't know why! I will be worried all week-end that a flash flood will happen! They wanted to do a float but couldn't because the rivers are up so high.

Lynn, Just saw that you are from Arnold , MO - my husband and I moved last year to Fort Worth, Texas but have lived all our lives in the St. Louis area - 41 years in Fenton. It will be fun to see someone from Missouri on the cruise !

Well we used to be neighbors! I worked and lived in Fenton for years! David works a 2nd job in Fenton on the week-ends! Such a small world! How do you like Texas compared to MO? Did you move to be close to family? I thought I had read that you did... I would love to move some place warm year round as I hate the cold. I am getting to hate the wet too! I have not visited Texas unless you count stopping and changing planes. I would love to go and see it - I enjoyed the History Channel Special last month - Texas Rising - Did you watch it? It was really good.

Lynn, we will have to visit on the cruise ! We lived in San Simeon by Marshalls Nursey and I taught in Rockwood for 12 years . My husband worked at Mercy for 28 years. Our daughter and her family lived in Greenmar for 10 years then decided to move to Fort Worth since her husbands whole family is here so we moved down (2 miles from them ) and are loving it. While our home was being built in early 2014 I decided I had seen all the snow and ice I ever wanted to see! It's warm here too in the summer but it's a dry heat - low humidity and it cools off at night. The funny thing is we always planned to retire in Orlando because I worked 7 years at the Disney Store and lots of my former managers are there now. Instead we just use our DVC to visit Florida. We will arrive on Saturday and staying at Old Key West until we head to the port on Monday when we check out. We plan to do a parks day on Sunday - finally got a fast pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Wishes. Normally would never go to the parks in August because it's too hot.

Great about going to TOTW, and 3 PM on Embarkation day in D Lounge, midship, Deck 4 is the on board meet!

I wish I could join you all at TOTW Sunday - but have a dining ADR at 8 PM and doubt I will make it over before Wishes - But if we do get done before Wishes I will try and get over to join you all! I will make it to D lounge as I know I am not going to make the breakfast either. This makes me sound anti social - not the case = just bad timing on my part! I noticed last week that I miss counted a day on my tickets - not sure how the heck I managed that one - so I need to add a day to my tickets once I arrive. What is a pain is I can't book my fast pass for that last day until I add the day and I can't add the day until I get there - oh well - teach me to count better! I think I missed that day when I won the discussion over flying rather than driving and I forgot I gained a day! Can't wait to tour the parks in the August Sun! Yeah! I thought I said I would never do that again! If it gets too bad I will head to the pool. Disney pool or Disney Parks still better than being at home!
I have a sick doggie today -I keep having to jump up and let him outside! Not sure what is wrong - but wish I could leave him outside if you know what I mean! Someone will be eating rice and eggs tonight for dinner! Poor guy! Will call the vet tomorrow if this keeps up. I think he has doggie stomach flu. At least he doesn't act like he is sick - happy as always! He keeps thinking he gets a treat every time he comes in from outside and I keeps saying No and he just does not understand. He is like - I came to the door - I didn't chase anything or run off - where is my treat? (he is part beagle) - I am like - Yeah you were outside because you are sick - No Treat! he just nudges the container and says - hand me the treat and I say No - and walk off - and five mins later - we are outside again and start the process all over again. Craving a salad I guess since he keeps eating grass. He is taking a nap right now. He knows I am talking about him - he just gave me the look!

Lynn, maybe one day could be just a resort, swim relax day if you do not want to add a day. I have nothing planned for Saturday, but breakfast at the Poly with friends. In our case we may want to meet with realtors.

Hugs to you that you are dealing with a sick pup. Last weekend we were back in Ohio, but in Ohio, we had to take Belle to the vet. The motel we had booked en route only had a room on the second floor, no elevator! The steps were of the open sort, you could see through them, as there were no backs to the steps. Belle got 1/2 way up, and got frightened and bolted down, nearly knocking Tom down, but we did not notice until we got into the room that Belle was bleeding...we could not stay in the hotel!! So, instead of turning in at 9:30, Tom drove the rest of the way, we arrived at out house at 12:30 AM. What Belle had done was, in her fright, on the step, she tore out a toenail! So she was on antibiotics all week. At least we all got to say goodbye to her great vet!

Some of you know that Cape May NJ is the base for Coast Guard recruits. We have always had recruits as guests for either Christmas or Thanksgiving under the Red Cross Program Operation Fireside. Well, 3 times a year, the CG opens the base and puts on a Sunset Parade, and tonight there will be one. That's our plans.
