DVC Member Cruise 2015?

When will they announce the 2015 Member Cruise? Will they do it during the 2014 Cruise in August?

There is no 4-day cruise available for general sale for 8/24/2015, so it's a fair assumption that the DVC cruise will be then.

PS, I just checked, and they announced the 2014 DVC cruise on 10/22/13 for ressies on 11/3/13. DCL had originally offered the 2014 dates for general sale, and they had to cancel those reservations, which got a lot of people on this board upset. They don't have to do that this time, as they did not take any ressies for 8/24/15. So maybe they can announce it earlier than October this time.

Didn't the member cruises used to be in October?
End of August.. That is truly height of hurricane season...Perhaps they offer this week because demand might be slower with kids returning back to school and some travelers cautious about hurricane season.

Heard that the member cruises are nice...Is there a Double Dip at CC?

Is the member cruise always on the Dream? Also, have read that there are some "fun freebies"...What are the other Member events that occur?

Rumor has it that there will be a DVC Alaskan cruise next year. There is a week between the California Coast cruise to Vancouver and the first Alaskan cruise so it would probably be then. The departure date would be 5/25/15. Of course it is all just rumor at this point.

I would prefer the end of August Caribbean as our kids don't go back until after Labour Day so that would work perfect for us!

Alaska is not my cup of tea, having grown up in northern Alberta. When I think cruise, I think tropical

This year's is a Double Dip at CC. They used to be on the Wonder, at least the one in 2005 was. In January 2013 and this year it is on the Dream, that's the ship that does the 3-4 night cruises out of PC.

Sailed the Dream a few summers ago, but did not do a double dip CC!

We LOVE CC, so a double dip members cruise would be appealing!
