DVC Member Cruise 2011

Any other gay DVCers considering the Member Cruise next September? We're planning on it at this point to check out the new ship, providing the funding works out!!

Yup we are We are even going to be at WDW for Gay Days 2011 for the first time It's going to be a great trip -- celebrating hubby's birthday, Gay Days and Star Wars Weekends

I hope you get your villa; are you using points and did you book it yet? I tried to get the Treehouse last year to no avail; however they had just opened so I wasn't surprised we couldn't get it.

We are staying at BWV ((which I need to book next month at my 7 mos mark)) and BLT for a split stay Our goal is to stay at every DVC resort over the next decade We have SSR, Kidani and BLT under our belt so far.

The members cruise is way over priced-we are doing a B2B after that cruise which respectively will be #22 & #23 for us even renting points to cash is cost prohibitive.
Have been member since 98 @ BW and BLT
Never done the member cruise in all those years-I just don't think it would be that much more enjoyable than a regular cruise as we have done alot of DCL special cruises.

Good luck to us!! (You, me and TagsMissy) Can I start a 'rumor' on the DVC Board that they're not taking reservations until 9am so that we can actually get through at 8am? Hmm...

We used cash. We're using points on the week+ stay at WDW afterwards.

In hindsight, we should have started the rumor. I finally made our reservation after 4pm!! Although, we're such morons, we got through the busy signals twice earlier in the day, and managed to disconnect ourselves. It's a miracle that we got booked at all!

My husband and I are also going the first weekend in June and on the members cruise. Great minds must think alike!

In the end we didn't book.. I hope you guys have a fantastic time... one day i dream to be on that cruise!

By the time I got through to Member Services, they were sold out of the categories I wanted. I'm on a waitlist, not sure if it'll come through.
