DVC member celebration at BLT

Does anyone know if they are still having these on Sat, Tues, & Thurs. anymore?

We were at the BLT in April. Because of these boards I knew to ask about the members meet at the BLT. It was Tues and Thur at the BLT. You have to sign up inadvance. We met in the BLT lobby about 12:40pm, signed in and were brought to TOWL.

It was very nice. Food and drinks, gifts and every person who attends got a VIP fastpass card. The key to this event is it fills up fast and you have to be registered.

I am not sure if they still have it but sign up at DVC desk or the BLT as soon as you arrive.

We may have to look into it in August. We are traveling with other family who may wanted to hear more info. We too are staying at BLT.

any DVC member may attend, but you do have to sign up in advance at a DVC kiosk.
btw, dh and i went last october, and it was great.
27yo DD and i went in may, and the food selection was much more limited (no finger sandwiches, limited beverages, no bottled water).
everyone received FPs (lesson learned: the "good for" dates include the date of issue), and a leatherette portfolio/binder. at the 1st one, we received pens, light up thingies, and a bunch of other doo-dads. at the 2nd one, dd won a nylon drawsring bag (none of the other, previous, gifts were given out).
what was really peculiar in may was that the guide started bringing us downstairs, without anyone going out on the balcony. when i asked if i could show my daughter that amazing view, he said they don't usually bring members out there any more, but that we could go for a minute.
the main reason i had booked it was to show her the view, so i did take him up on the offer

and, yes, she questioned me on whether she should buy or not

We went over last Christmas, it was nice. They were trying to sell Hawai'i but it was nice seeing TOTW and what the view is for the opposite contemporary side of the building. Since BLT is our home resort it was also nice to jump the elevator and be home in 5 minutes. They gave out some pins and an Hawai'i print, which has been framed and hung on our Disney wall... Yes we have a Disney wall... Go, all of the DVC get togethers are pretty good plus do not forget the Wednesday get together at the Atlantic Dance Hall and if you are there over December there is also a Christmas party every Friday (except for the first week when it is on a Thursday). They do it 4 weeks in a row to catch as many owners as possible.

Thanks for the info. Too bad we arrive on August 12th. Seems it ends on August 7th.

I was there 4 weeks ago, they were Tuesday and Thursday then, and they had cupcakes brownies and fruit, water, lemonade and coffee. I received the leather tri folder thing, we all got a reusable bag, and I won a hat! And all got fast passes
