DVC License Plate

Yesterday I received a DVC license plate along with some literature on the referral program. What a pleasant surprise!

We got our license plate about a year ago, but can't use it here as we need to have both a front and rear plate on our vehicles.

Who gets the license plate? Those who buy through Disney?

DH and I just bought at VB and haven't received our contract or any information yet. Could be slow cause of the holiday though.

What does the license plate look like?

Hi Rima -
Just wanted to say HI! We live in Dearborn also and just bought at VB in Feb (also own at OKW). If it helps, we didn't receive the license plate either and our guide told us she would make sure we got one. I even called to remind her and I still haven't received it. We have closed and our deed has been recorded so if we were going to get one, I would have thought we would have it by now. Oh well, I'll be at OKW in July and will buy one then.

It's the size of a regular license plate. It's white plastic with "Disney Vacation Club Member" and the DVC logo. Of course, here in NY we can't use it either! I'll probably stick it in the window of the car.
(We closed March 14 and the plate came yesterday.)

Remember, not everyone gets the incentives because of state laws governing time share sales. And if you do, they can have really weird disclaimers on them.

I live in Minnesota, so my items come very basic, but I have a friend in DVC that gets the disclaimers, and another that can't get them because of the state they live.

I too read about the license plate as well as the VWL pins. Our contract for VWL closed on 4/4. I called Member Services today about banking my remaining points that I will still have remaining after our summer trip, and asked about the plate and pin. MS put me in touch with the Marketing Dept and they put my name on a list and said to expect them in 2-3 weeks. I guess if you don't ask, your outta luck! Be sure to call!!
