DVC laundry detergent

Do DVC 2-bedroom villas (at WDW) provide any "starter" laundry supplies? Marriott Vacation Club always provides one single use box of detergent. Doing our first DVC stay this month, and don't know what to expect.

Yes, there is always at least one box (one load) and sometimes two boxes there. I always bring extra from home though. I don't like having to bring dirty clothes home and also usually wash towels too.

You can buy more from the resort store, some people pack pods or soap sheets from home.

I usually bring an empty Gatorade bottle with enough detergent for a few loads of wash. The size of the bottle depends on the length of the trip, but the cap screws on tight so I'm not afraid of it spilling. Just for added security I put the bottle in a zip top bag in my suitcase. Works well and even if there is a little left that I don't bring home I don't feel like I have wasted a late amount.

Seconding tide pods. Though if you need extra small boxes the resort stores have them.,

Thanks everyone! We will be bringing our own detergent also, but was just curious if DVC provided box (or two!) as well.

We actually have several boxes from previous MVC trips, which we're packing with us. We have detergent pods, but are planning on saving those for our road trip to Hilton Head in July (another MVC stay)
