DVC LA Nouba Discount

Does anyone know if the DVC discount on La Nouba tickets will be
extended past the December 16 date? We would like to go during our
February trip but I have been holding off buying tickets to see if the
discount will be extended. I don't want to wait too long if nothing is
going to happen.

I'm going in January and I also don't want to wait to long because I want good seats. While I don't think anybody knows for sure, I doubt very much that they will extend the discount!

If you look on Deb's www.allearsnet.com site you'll notice that the prices for ALL 3 SEATING CATEGORIES ARE GOING DOWN EFFECTIVE JAN 1st! Since they're reducing prices across the board, I can't imagine them extending a discount for anybody. As a result, I called and purchased my tickets 2 weeks ago when I saw the Jan 1st prices.

Where did you see that prices were going to be lowered? All I see is pricing from LAST January and when I went to the Cirque site, the same pricing as now came up. (i.e. $75 + tax for Cat 2 seats).

Interesting. That discount has been in place for several years, so I would expect it to continue. If prices are being lowered for next year, that might be why it is unable to be reserved with the discount.

For some reason, I was under the impression that Category 1 seats were $109. So when I saw a lower price on Deb's Web Site, I jumped and bought the tickets! (Isn't it amazing what wishful thinking can do, my brain saw what I thought was a lower price on the web site, and my brain also saw the "effective Jan 1st" - but my brain very convieniently ignored the "2005" part.

Oh well - that's what life's about!!!! So while I paid regular category 1 prices, at least I already have great seats in my hands.

But as far as your question, I know that "dianeschlicht" is usually right!! So if she says that the discount has been extended for years, I'd bet on her! As long as you're interested in the discount for category 2, I'd wait a few days after the present discount expires and I'll bet they'll extend it again!

Thanks for the info. Still not sure what we are going to do. Our scheduled is getting pretty full even though I swore I wouldn't be a commando this time, i seem to have been over ruled by my DW & DD
