I have been meaning to post these pictures and others for some time. This will be the first in the series of II Exchange Pictures I have taken.

We did not stay in this condo, but with the permission of the manager, we were allowed to take pictures around the complex. Based on the outside appearance, I would rate this resort as very average.

The biggest downside appears to the the surrounding neighborhood. It seems to be in a dieing section of the island, but I have heard that this area is beginning to see new growth. Time will tell.

The biggest asset appears to be the beach/view. The beach area is secluded, quiet, and absolutely beautiful.

Nice, Robin. Thanks for sharing those. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your Hawaii photos! :)

What island was this on? Oahu? There are a lot of properties in Waikiki which I would say are in questionable areas...

This one while on Oahu is no where near Waikiki. It is at Makana Beach on the west coast.

It is about a 45 - 60 minute drive from Waikiki. It is about 20 - 25 minutes due north of the Ko'olina area where Disney/DVC is building thier new resort. This part of the island is more residential and much more like the other islands in Hawaii. Very secluded and quiet. Not a lot of traffic. A local grocery store and a few fast food restaurants. If you stay here, you are looking for a peaceful beach vacation.
