DVC Hawaii

Wasn't there mention of DVC in Hawaii coming up in the future?

I started saving a while ago and was wondering if sales will be coming soon. Maybe I imagined the Hawaii DVC thing.

It was announced last October but isn't even slated to open until 2012. I'm still betting on some sort of a tie-in with the new DCL vessels under construction. If they have a port on the west coast, Hawaii would be a natural destination for a stopover.

Disney hasn't announced many details at all, but they did name a VP about 6 weeks ago. That temporarily silenced some of the rumblings over a lack of forward movement. But until they start some serious construction work, it's easy to question whether the resort will ever make it off the drawing board or not.

I agree that there will be some sort of tie-in with the new ships in 2012. However, the two new ships will be staying in Florida for awhile, so the tie-in would be with either the Magic or Wonder going to the West Coast again and then perhaps Hawaii.

dizneyfan23 I heard the same thing....new ships in Floriday, older ships on the West Coast. Now I'm just waiting for them to announce DVC DCL!! I would buy in a heart beat.
