DVC Hawaii

Will skyrocketing airfare impact DVC plans for Hawaii? I'd love to use the facilities there some day, but could I afford to fly? Anybody know when the bridge will be done? It could be cheaper to drive than fly.

Airfare, for many (including myself), to Hawaii has always been high. I doubt that increased fares will impact travel to Hawaii much. Hawaii is THE place to be for most vacationers. People will still fly to WDW and Hawaii, while they might give up going to lesser vacation spots.

As for the bridge - there really isn't much information on it at the moment, aside from this one article I found:

Hawaii airfare has been high for some time. However, I doubt if it will be getting any cheaper. I know two airlines that used to fly to Hawaii went bankrupt and ceased operation this year. I have my doubts that DVC Hawaii will be happening anytime soon.
