DVC Grand Califorian at 7 month best time??

I keep seeing 8am for booking, I am assuming that is the earliest it can be booked on the 7 month window? Doesn't open at midnight or something like that correct? We are looking for a 2b villa for mid May 2018 at VGC. Friday-Tuesday stay. Do you log in before 8am and just refresh once 8am arrives?

You can start booking rooms online at this time(I thought it was 07:00) and call and talk to a cast member to book at 09:00. Correct me if I am wrong on this..smjj

The DVC website says 8 a.m., and phones open at 9 a.m. As far doing it on the computer, I input as much as the information as I can before 8 a.m. and hit the submit at 8 a.m. I've never hit the refresh since I'm afraid I would screw it up somehow, but I'm not saying that wouldn't work, though.

Booking times are the same no matter what booking window you are in. Online booking opens at 8am eastern. MS opens for calls at 9am eastern.

We're looking for June 2018 and either need 2 studios or a 2-bedroom. I've already succumbed to the fact there's no way we're going to get 2 studios and just fork over the extra 48 points for the 2 bedroom. Fingers crossed THAT'S available! What's another 48 points?? I'm trying to convince myself the W/D, full kitchen and extra bathroom are truly worth it.
