DVC golf membership question

Do DH or I have to have a DVC golf membership before I book a tee time online or can I book one now and then join when we arrive in FL in June??

When we went last summer, we purchased the membership at the time of check in for our tee time. I booked our tee times in advance. So go ahead and make your tee times.

Yes, that's exactly the way DH did it too. If I remember correctly, he bought the membership at the golf course that day. He's also booked with the AP discount without having the AP. Upon check-in at the resort, we ran over to DTD so he could buy his AP.

DVC owners may purchase a yearly golf membership for $50.00, with the golf membership you and up to three guest pay only $50.00 per round. You may only make tee times for after 10 AM however. Saves a ton of $$$ for green fees since most green fees are over $100.00 per person most of the year. Also if you are a member rental clubs for any youth are free. This is something I wish I had known last December, I could have left my two sons golf bags at home and had less to get on the plane.

Strangely these dates do not overlap with the regular pricing dates, so I have a tee time on 5/5 for $35 instead of $169...thats a big discount! And that includes the cart! I will be playing again in Oct. so it makes it worth it for me alone.
God, I can't wait to buy a place in Fla. so that my home course will be WDW!

Not sure about discount but the rental fees are only $55.00 for Titlest or Cobra sets. I wound up lugging down four complete sets this past December, never again now that I know I can rent for $55.00 or less and both sons under 18 are free.

Players also should be aware that the window for booking tee times changes with the seasons. In the peak season a tee time cannot be made more than 14 days in advance. The other two seasons are 90 days in advance.

Our last Golf Membership we had 32 rounds over three trips on the card. Awesome savings!
