DVC-Golden Years

I'll be 80, DH 83 when our BWV burns out, my kids will be in their 50's and on average, my unborn grandkiddies (hopefully) will be in their 20's, it's all good here :goodvibes

We plan to have our 50th wedding anniv. in 4 yrs. there. Who knows about what our kids and grandkids and great grandkids will do with DVC.

Long before then, my kids will be wheeling me around the parks like I did for them when they were toddlers. Payback will be sweet. I just hope I'm still tall enough to ride Space Mountain. :)

My DH & I will be 92 when the OKW & BWV contracts end. I will be long gone when the SSR ends. I'm leaving the the OKW & BWV seperately to my DD's. They will get to share the SSR. I really hate the thought that I won't be around as long as my DVC contracts, but it will really give my girls & the grandkids more fun memories!

Hope

not to worry grasshoppers...age is relative when it comes to enjoying the magic:thumbsup2

DH & I can see the golden years off in the distance...bring it on baby:woohoo:

I will probably be too old to remember my own name let alone care about how I will afford Disney vacations.

Yep - that's what we figured too! I think I'll be in my 80s and DH will be in his 90s, so once it runs out it runs out. If we're still in good health maybe we'll add on. :rotfl:

Then we will all be Dopey and Goofy !

:cool1:

Too funny!

DisDaydreamer...I love the Shenandoah Valley! :)

Will be 77 when our AKV contract expires. I'll be looking for an extension!

We have a trip booked to Disneyland this August. We used our developer points to reserve a week at the Grand Californian. To my understanding, they will have the upcoming DVC rooms available for previews. If they're selling in August, we may purchase points during the trip. That way, I'll be covered by DVC until I'm 94! :rotfl2:

I've heard a rumor that for those of us that will be in our 90's DVC is going to open up the Assisted Living Villas. (lol)l

We will be 92, my son will be 72 and my daughter 70, my grand daughter 56.

Oh put me on the waiting list for points for that. The nurses can all wear costumes when they hand out our pills. And we can have an inhouse BBB where we can get our hair dyed blue (cause no self respecting old lady would have non blue hair). We'll have to make ADR's for the dining hall though. At that age I'm not sure I can commit to something 180 days in advance.

I'll be 66 & DH will be 73 when our BWV contract runs out. Just in time to buy more points at the space villas I guess.

But just did the math. My two oldest grandsons will be almost 50, and my sons will be 79 and 77. But they'll still know that Poppa and DeeDee made all this Mickey possible for them.

Oh yeah, put me down for Assisted Living Villas too!

I'll be 88 when our AKV contract expires so I'll need some help with my artificial hip after a long day of trying to remember where my shoes are. I think the only park ticket I could commit to then is a 1-day Chair Hopper so I can move around my room a little bit :)

Where do I go for the assisted living DVC? I'll be 88, DW will be 81. Come to think of it I'll be dead and she'll be running round the world with new hips and probably some young wippersnapper of a husband....:sad2:
She'll kill me when she reads this....:rolleyes1
