DVC Gift In The Mail

I got a DVC gift in the mail today....it was a nice "Villas at Wilderness Lodge" pin....2/12/01

WDW...Been There, Done That, Going Back!

I received the purple and blue DVC 2000 pin "A migical tradition, a brilliant future" from my rep last week.

I gave my rep a gift when we went down for the 1st time, never met him and never got anything from him.

Gee...I didn't receive a thing in my mailbox and since I collect those wonderful pins I sure am hoping that one comes my way.

We got our VWL pins today!!! Making reservations there in a coupla weeks so this was quite a treat!

We didn't receive any pins either, and we collect them as well. In Dec. we had to buy one that was for DVC members only (stored behind the counter), and we got carded to prove we were members! That was at OKW and the next day we were at VWL and they had them out for anyone to buy. Would sure like to get one for free!

We too are looking forward to a pin in the mail. I hope. We purchsed from DVC in December at VWL and closed about a month ago. So, far we have not received anything from DVC other than the letter that the closing had completed. <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Do you only get them if you bought directly from DVC? We bought resale and would love to get one of those pins for our DD's pin lanyard.

Shelbyjosh....Just to let you know that we purchased our membership through resale also and I did receive my pin in the mail today.

We got our pin today for WLV. Just wondering though, how do you get pins for the other DVC resorts? Do you have to buy them at the resort? And is the pin we received in the mail the same one for sale at WLV?

According to DIZPINS, all DVC owners are supposed to get the VWL pin. I hope mine comes soon as I collect pins too. I was shocked to hear that the special "DVC members" pin that we had to show ID for was out for general sale at VWL. We got ours at Boardwalk and definitely had to show proof of membership there. Hopefully they have rectified that situation.
