DVC experts need your help??

IF we have 7 day never been used Magic Your Way park passes and we want to upgrade them to a DVC discounted AP can we do that? Do we need to use a day on 7 days first??? IF we arrive on Jan. 26th and want to upgrade....do we use them one day and then upgrade the next day we go to the parks?? Thanks

It is best to use the pass first then go and upgrade. This will make sure you get todays prices for the ticket. Then go to guest relations with DVC card and ID for every adult and upgrade. If you do it right away the AP are park hoppers too. Current price for 7 day MYW ticket is 228 for adult or 193 for child. AP DVC discount is 369 for adult and 326 for child so you would pay 141 plus tax for adult and 133 plus tax for child.

I'd suggest trying to determine how many days you plan on visiting for the next year from January 26 on. It may be that the 7 day ticket will take care of your needs and you won't need to get the AP. But if you plan on visiting a whole bunch, I'd trade them in right away. An easy spot to do it is at the Guess Relations location in Down Town Disney. You really should look at what your plans are and compare if it is worth it or not.

Oh well we are going back in July for 8 nights for sure and we never know about Nov. or Jan til later in the year. SO we would figure off of going in Jan. and again in July.
