I just returned from the event and I can say this was the best one I have attended.
Deevy See was there and she was a HOOT! They really made this presentation more of a entertaining show rather than a boring sales spiel.
There's some surprises that I don't want to spoil for those who are going.
Afterward there was tons of food; sandwiches, make your own sundaes, fun beverages, a beautiful fruit centerpiece with fruit skewers. Then the fab five came out in their sailing costumes and danced and took pictures with everyone. There was a D.J. for a great "Bon Voyage" dance party.
Anyway the deals as I wrote down are this:
Add on 100 points get 3 night ocean view stateroom for up to 4 people
Add on 125 points get 4 nights ocean view stateroom for up to 4 people
Add on 200 points get 7 night cruise on Disney Wonder to Mexican Riviera or Western Caribbean on Disney Magic for up to 4 people
OR choose the S.S. Members Cruise for 2 people in 2011 in an ocean view stateroom
250 points get same incentive as the 200 point level but get a verandah room for up to 4 people
400 point add on= get same as 250 point level plus a $800 on board ship credit
The only thing they mentioned as a discount instead of the cruises was at the 250 point add on level, you get a $22 discount per point.
I don't know what or even if there is a discount offered for lower point add on levels instead of choosing the cruises.
Sorry if every detail here is not correct, I was writing very fast. I did not talk to a sales rep. to get more info on any further discounts.
Every family got a blue
DVC lightweight tote bag; the type you can take to the grocery store and use instead of those plastic bags and a nice notebook holder printed with a Mickey Design and says "Disney Vacation Club". Everyone also received a framed Disney artwork picture of Captain Mickey.
It was blast! I even got my picture taken with Deevy See! And I never had a Konk Cooler but I now know what it is and it is fabulous. They gave out the recipe too so I can make them at home!
