DVC is apparently sending out postcards offering a 3 night stay at a WDW moderate hotel just for attending a 90 minute DVC presentation. Here's the thread (from the Budget Board) with the details:

A 3 (or 4) night stay at WDW moderate for $89/night seems like a fairly good incentive to get people to take the tour. I know the $89 rate for a moderate has been available with certain codes, but code-discounted rooms seem to be quite limited in number. Wonder how they decide who gets the postcard.

Does anyone know if this is the first time they have done something like this? I know they have offered reduced prices for stays at VB & HHI if the guests agree to take the tour, but I am not aware that they have done anything like this on site. Based on the reported selling pace, I am a little surprised that they are doing this. Maybe BCV really will sell out before the end of the year.

I believe this is the first time they've ever done anything like this at WDW. My guess is they are working off the mailing list of interested parties who have requested DVC info in the past.

I'm kind of suprised they are making a push like this when sales are going so well. However, someone mentioned that many of the sales are coming from add-ons. Maybe they are trying to get new owners and/or get people interested in DVC in general to prepare for the DI and Eagle Pines when they become available.
