DVC-Disneyland ?'s

Sorry - I admit I tune most of Disneyland info out, but we have relatives who live in the Seattle area and we're thinking of maybe hooking up in Disneyland sometime soon. What has been announced for DVC Disneyland? I believe some kind of DVC resort has been announced? Are there any date estimates (I realize it won't be anytime soon)? What resort at Disneyland is it to be 'attached' to or will it be its own resort?

Yes, new DVC villas are currently under construction at the Grand Californian Hotel. There will be 50 DVC units, as well as more rooms for the hotel as well. The models are currently "supposed" to be open for touring around Memorial Day, and then sales should start sometime later this fall or winter. It's been said that GCV should be ready for occupancy sometime in the fall of 2009.
