DVC Discounts on Hopper Plus

My family is going home to BCV on Saturday. This evening I attempted to purchase 5 day Park Hopper Plus Tickets at the local Disney Store. I thought that DVC members receive a discount on park tickets purchased at The Disney Store. Is this correct? CM told me that we do receive discounts, but the tickets have to be purchased at the gate. She kept comparing DVC to Disney Club, so I don't completly believe what she told me. What would be the best way to go - purchase the tickets here or wait till we get down to BCV?

The only discount is on the UMP. No other tickets discounts anywhere. Some have gotten discounts at TDS but were not supposed to.

Sometimes people have gotten the DVC discount at a Disney store. However, we are NOT entitled to that discount. The only ticket discount we get is 10% off the Length of Stay pass. Our DVC discount is only good at the Disney Store for merchandise. It also doesn't apply to Disney Store catalog or Internet purchases.

I know...it stinks.

I thought there was a greater discount on tickets if you purchased them prior to your trip. Can't remember the specifics. Hopefully someone will have the answer. I too inquired at the Dilsney Store about discounts on park passes and was told no discounts. 10% off everything EXCEPT park passes.

There is a discount for purchasing park hopper and park hopper plus tickets in advance. Those discounts are available to anyone. There are additional discounts on PHP passes if you a member of the Disney Club (and the DC discounts onPHP passes do require an advance purchase).

As posted, the DVC pass discount only applies to UPH tickets and those must be purchased at the resort. The DVC discount on UPH tickets is 10% off the gate price, not the advance purchase price.

I'm not up on all the latest info but I think there is a discount if you purchase via the Internet. Of course, you have to do it far enough in advance to receive the tickets before your trip. My relatives also feel they get a pretty good discount when they purchase tickets at AAA.

These Prices are are without FL Sales tax of 6.5%

There is a discount on the Park Hopper Plus passes if you are a Disney Club member, but I don't have that.

Since DVC members get a discount only on UPH passes at DVC resorts, information about purchasing other types of admission media would be better found on the Theme Parks Board.
