Hi Everybody,
I think I'm losing my mind. I could swear I just read something somewhere about DVC members being able to book Food & Wine tastings and classes at a discount, but now I'm looking all over the place and can't find the information.

Does anybody know if and when these discounts become available?

Thanks!

I believe DVC, AP and TIW can book for 2015 beginning on 7/24, a week before the public. There are discounts for many of the events and I think I read you must call to book and receive the discount. Check Disney Food Blog for details - I don't have the number handy or I'd gladly provide it!

Thanks! I'm just relieved that I was not imagining things. Appreciate the info!!

I just called and booked two. I did not get a discount. I had been on the phone for an hour, so I didn't fuss with asking about it, I just wanted to get off the phone.

Do you call Member Services to receive the discount? I know that most people who were eligible for discounts probably called already, but since there's nothing special I want the week I'm there-I just want to book one since I like the experience, I figured I'd call early next week. But where do I call?

Just be aware that the whole booking process is very slow, at least it was for me. I wish we could have done it on-line. It would have been worth the extra $2. I was on the phone for almost 40 minutes just to book one culinary demonstration. First there was almost 5 minutes to answer questions and get in the right queu. Then 7 minutes of hold time. Then she just worked slowly and told me that the demonstration I wanted (the chef from the GF Bakery) was held AT the Grand Floridian. Well, I don't know if that's true, never heard it before, so she had to double check. Yes, she said, so I selected something else. Then the new one didn't give me a discount, so she put me on hold again, etc. etc. Anyways, now I've got the chef from the Yak and Yeti on 10/21. I'm really looking forward to it-I've got an ADR for Yak and Yeti the next day, my first time there. So this is sort of a "preview" for me.

It took me two different phone calls to get everything with discounts for a Tuesday.
