Hi!
My Dad bought into DVC in January 2004. Recently he added me as a member on his contracts and I am no longer an associate, but full member.

I was hoping to get DH a massage at SSR spa in November for his birthday. Because he is not an "owner" and has no blue member card, is he eligible for the discount at the spa? I guess I am asking if anyone in the immediate family other than the actual owner eligible for discounts?

Thanks for your advice.

I was able to get the discount on a massage for my daughter's birthday this past January. I just needed to go to the desk with her and show my card. When you call the spa for an appointment they will explain the details. By the way, she's hooked and wants another one for her birthday this January. Be careful what you start. lol. :rotfl:

When I spoke with MS about this, I was told that my DH was not eligible for the discount, only the member. However, when I called to make the appointment for him today, I was asked if we were members and I said that I was a member and she asked where we were staying and our check in date. She said to come in with him and show my membership card. I hope that this is true.

We just returned from a stay at SSR. My daughter had a massage while there. I went in with her to show my membership card and was told that her room key was all she needed. The room key says "DVC Member" on it. You shouldn't have a problem.
