DVC Discounts at GF

I am a DVC memeber and am planning my 2007 honeymoon at the Grand Floridian. I booked a rack rate room. The CM told me I could call back for discounts in August. Which discount should I use - DVC, AAA or AP?

There is no DVC discount at the GF. You can use your AAA discount now and the hope an AP rate comes in Aug 2007

We stayed there for our honeymoon with our DVC points. It was expensive, but it's your honeymoon. It was totally worth it. It's the best place I've ever stayed. If you're planning on staying in August, I know that's considered the value season for DVC points there.

Personally, I would move to the Orlando Ritz... that's a Honeymoon hotel!!!

Anyway, I would watch the Codes subboard on the Resorts board for discounts. www.mousesavers.com is another great info source.

My fiance (22) and I(26) are celebrating our honeymoon at Disney too. We are staying at the GF from Aug. 7th-12th, followed by a Disney Cruise. It's always fun to meet new friends (especially at disney).
