DVC discount on Pal Mickey?

Does anyone know if you can get a discount on Pal Mickey with the DVC card? If not how about discount using an AP?

We bought ours at World of Disney, DTD. 10% off with AP. I THINK you would have to get a pal mickey at TDS in order to use our DVC discount. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong..

Just noted you were from across the pond. I don't believe any discount is offered for mail order. I understood they needed to be "in person" purchases to get the discounts.

Do a search for pal mickey over on the budget board. Seems like a while back some folks were able to get them from some of the Disney Outlet stores (like Character Wearhouse) in Orlando for about half price, if I remember right. Don't know if they are still available, but you might check it out.

I saw those posts, too. Seems like people were paying under $30 for PM. But that was at least 6-8 weeks ago. I bet they all disappeared before Christmas.

The reason for the low prices was that Disney was clearing out its inventory for the next version. This spring they will be introducing a new PM that can be dressed-up in different outfits that they will also sell at the parks.

An excellent suggestion. We visited the wearhouse second week of Dec 04, but they didn't have anythink like Pal M's there. Not to say they wouldn't though, inventory changes rapidly I would expect.

One word of caution.. make sure you and your new Pal are compatable. When we bought ours, the CM was kind enough to ask if we really wanted one that spoke only Spanish.

they weren't selling them in their warehouse - just over the phone....

I got one then - I love him!!!

I had gotten one before then but my niece took it.

This one is MIND!

the new one is surpose to be out in May (with the new party) - it will have a better memory. but the old ones will still work.

He works just fine - no problems.

However he is know to run away at the parks - I carry mind in my cat carrier and that works greats - if he falls off - he just falls down into the carrier.

I saw somewhere that you should keep calling...apparently the outlet stores with them weren't the stores in the Orlando area. I also saw somewhere that someone had gotten it for $45 after discount... Obviously that would have to be a discount other than AP if the AP discount is only 10%.

So they will be able to give more jokes, info, etc... cause the newer version will have a bigger memory chip.
