Is there a DVC discount on FL seasonal AP's? On All Ears, it lists a FL AP and a FL Seasonal AP as the exact same price with a DVC discount. This can't be right. On this site, it lists the base price of both and doesn't show any DVC discount for either. Do we get a DVC discount on both types or passes and renewals? Thanks!

Lisa

you do - but it equals the DVC discount - so it is pretty tiny.

here is the discount from dvcmember.com

Not sure what you are looking at on Allears but http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm correctly shows a regular FL AP with DVC discount as $314.18 and a FL Seasonal at $222.59. There is no DVC discount on a FL Seasonal.

But a FL Resident AP and a regular AP (non-FL resident) are both listed as $314.18 with a DVC discount. I thought there was a price difference between the two but I guess I am wrong. The $222.59 for the seasonal pass must be with tax. This site has it listed for $209 so I assume that is without tax. I don't see a discount for renewing a FL seasonal pass. Isn't that available anymore?

Lisa, first, the reason you see the same price for the DVC discounted AP and the florida resident AP is because, when you apply the discount to the general price, the final price is the same, in other words it doesn't matter if you buy a discounted AP ($100 discount) or the FL resident discounted AP ($20 discount), you will pay $295 plus taxes.
The FL seasonal pass doesn't have a DVC discount and it is $209 + taxes. There is a discount for renewing the FL seasonal AP. I think it is $20 but I'm not entirely sure. The web site will only give you the information on the renewal price once you are close to the renewal date and mine is not due until may 06.
If you are not traveling during the block out dates, I will certainly recommend you to go for the seasonal and save $90 per adult. You get the exact same benefits for a lot less money.

There is no DVC discount when renewing the FL resident annual pass.

I recently renewed my pass on 7/3/05.

Also all ears lists FL resident seasonal renewal at $192.77

Okay the Disney website lists the following:
( I have no idea if this is with or without taxes )

Out of state pass no discount: $415.00

FL resident annual: $315.00

FL resident seasonal: $209.00

Hope this helps.

Any idea what they mean by "Maple Leaf tickets"?

Maple leaf is the name of the ticket broker. ( Someone who sells tickets. )
