DVC Discount for MVMCP?

Is there a DVC discount for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

I cannot seem to find any info on DVC Member website-so I knew someone here at the DIS would know for sure.

Member Privileges > Member Perks > WDW Resort > WDW Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic > WDW Annual Pass Savings. In the 'How to Purchase a Pass' section, click on 'Walt Disney World Ticket Store'. Change the 'Browse Available Tickets' drop down to 'Special Events' and then click 'Go'.

They are dates where no discount is available.

You should buy your tickets in advanace. When we purchased I was told that several days, like the last day, usually sell out.

I ordered tickets this weekend for Dec. 10th, no discount for that evening!

The discounts this year are far and few between with no discounts the week of the Annual Members meeting. Go figure!

How far ahead do we need to buy to get the discount? The 11/30, 12/2 and 12/3 dates are all discounted. We went last year and are not sure we want to spend the extra money this year... but my DW might change her mind. Can we get the tickets at the resort with the discount?

You must purchase at least one day in advance to get any available discount.

Not sure if you can make an advance purchase on property and still receive the discount.

Thanks for the directions ERIONM - found it & was able to purchase with no problem. I am a little confused though that the system did not ask for my DVC member # while I was booking the tickets - maybe because I had logged in through DVC membership? Nor does it indicate anywhere on the ticket voucher that I am to present at will-call to remember to bring the DVC card - which thanks to Disboards I will be sure to do. And lastly, I was under the impression I could only purchase up to 6 MVMCP tickets, but I keyed in 6A & 2C tickets and the sale went through.

fyi - we are going on night #2, 11/9/11 - thought we would give them a night to work out the kinks & we were able to get dinner reservations on 11/8 for Park Fare where I hear the step-sisters are a hoot!
