DVC discount for Fort Wilderness?

We would like to stay in a cabin at FW after our SSR stay next year. I would rather pay cash, since it is a Fri and Sat night. Do dvc members get any type of discount at FW?

I know I should have called MS today, but forgot. I am thinking that if there is no discount I could just book online, or is that the very most expensive way to go? I've not stayed on cash since joining dvc, not familiar with the best way to do it.

No, DVC cash discounts apply to DVC resorts only...and are subject to availability. Are you an annual passholder? Maybe you could get an AP discount through CRO.

I will be by the time we go. I hadn't ordered it yet, but suppose there's really no reason to wait, as long as I don't "activate" it. If I book now and become a passholder later and find out there is a discount will they give it to me then?

If a discount is available, yes...but you will have to keep calling CRO to find out, they will not change it automatically.
