Folks,
So often we hear of DVCers who experience trouble getting their 10% discount while shopping at the Disney Store. Quite happy to report that there were no questions asked when I presented my blue card at the Disney Store in the Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario and promptly received $1.90 off the purchase of a Sleeping Beauty Princess doll ($13.99 on sale!!) and an antenna topper ($5) The manager recognized the card, mentioned they don't see many of them and admitted that some CMs confuse the continuing DVC discount with the discontinued DC discount. She even allowed the discount when a member of my church youth group made a purchase immediately after me. It was only $1.80, but for a 15 year old girl making minimum wage at a local donut store and Chuck E. Cheese, that $1.80 means the world.
