DVC discount Dolphins in depth

I know there is a DVC discount for D I D is it 15% or 10%? Have many other DVCer's tried it? What are your thoughts?

I do not know what the discount is but I did do the program. I went two years ago and I used the Disney Club for a discount. I was not yet a DVC member. The program is very interesting. You are not in the water the whole time and you don't actually swim with them. They have two dolphins, one handler per dolphin and four people per dolphin. You are standing in the water (with a wet suit on) with the dolphin and the trainer. This is at the end of the program, the rest is taking you around the facilities and showing you how they take care of them and train them. You also get a t-shirt and a personal vidieo of your time in the water with the dolphin. I enjoyed the program.. Hope this helps.

I just did it in March. Sorry, but I can't remember the discount % either. As tripletvan stated, you are not in the water with the dolphin the whole time. I really enjoyed it. Although, when I was there, there was only 1 dolphin used when you did get in the water. There were 8-10 people in the group. The trainer did give you ample time to touch the dolphin and get close. Each person got to kneel down in the water and have the dolphin rest in their arms for a photo, which was given to you at the end along with your t-shirt.
