DVC discount at DL?

Hi, I am in the process of trying to book a vacation to DL in July 2005 and I am trying to decide if I should do points or cash? Has anyone called and gotten the # of points needed for the Disneyland Hotel now that it has been dicounted? My Member Book lists 39 pts. for a standard and 46 pts. for a premium view, for the dates we are interested in. Also, any guesses on availability?(it is for the end of July, 8nites) And finally does anyone know how the GC sleeps 5? The DLH shows a daybed and 2 queens in pics I have seen but the GC only shows 2 queens or a King? and bunkbeds. Any HELP is appreciated!! Thanks,Joan

My SV DLH ressie for 2 nights July 18 and 19 is a total of 58 points so 29 points a night- The GC when we were there in 2001 sent up a sleeping bag and roll up mat to put on the floor to provide the extra space we needed. They did not have roll away beds then - don't know if they do now. I don't think one would have fit safely in the room anyway. The DLH had roll away beds which we didn't need as we had one of the rooms with the day bed - it was a single size bed and the room was very good sized. They had sent up a roll away and it fit nicely but with the day bed we sent it back. I was only able to get 2 of the 4 nights I wanted but there was availabilty for nights after that.
