Hi, All
I need advice from the pros! We are taking a trip this fall with another family. They booked a package with AAA for 4 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (which they love) and a 3 night cruise. Of course, we all know that 4 nights at WDW is NOT enough. Is it possible for me to book a room for them, using my DVC discount, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge to extend their stay (if it is available)? These are good friends, so if I needed to use my credit card or be there at check in, that wouldn't be a problem. If it is possible, do you think they would have to change rooms?
Thanks for the advice!

I don't think DVC gets a discount at non DVC resorts. If you have an AP and the rates are out, you could use the AP rates.

No discount available on regular WDW resorts, but you could pay for a discounted room at your resort and you could stay in that, or you could rent points for them to stay at your home resort near you.

Any time you get a member discount at a DVC resort, the member must stay in that room. Just another piece of information.
