DVC discount and AP renewal

have not been over here in awhile. so, i sure am sorry if this has already been asked and answered. as DVC members we are entitled to a discount on renewals. what i need to know is do we call member services to do this transaction? thanks!

I just called MS yesterday about renewing! Our passes are up a couple of week prior to our arrival this year. Here is what they told me. You can go thru MS to get the discount. You have to call within 30 days of renewal or there is a grace period of 30 days after your renewal date (but I'd rather be on the safe side and purchase ahead of time). MS will then send you a voucher and you visit Guest Relations to get the actual passes. OR-You can purchase at Guest Relations at the parks or DD to get the discount, you must show your DVC cards adn ID.
