DVC Direct Sales Rep Recommendation

Ours is Mohamed Elaroussi and his number is 407-827-4573 ot 866-364-5376. He does a lot of the cruises now but he is really good and very responsive. He has always been forthcoming and no pressure.
I have met Mohamed before - on the cruises, but I think I have seen him around Florida as well... He was very lovely, just wasn't the right time for us to buy...

Honestly, I think if later in life, if DVC would hire me to be a guide on the cruise ships, that would be a lovely job!

Bet she loved that!

I would imagine being a DVC guide is a relatively desirable job as far as selling goes… It also seems to me like it is medium-high pressure, and many people who like doing it prefer to exit and move onto other ventures…

My insurance salesman is a former DVC Guide
I think of Derek DeBoer and so many of the team at the various resale companies that are former guides.

Makes me think that it isn’t quite as pleasant as you might think…

But…

Then again, maybe if it is a product you believe in as much as many of us do on this forum, it doesn’t become work…

In all seriousness, probably best to keep our passions and hobbies as that, rather than the stressors of work.

She said they paid her well, too well. I didnt want to be too intrusive so I left it at that 🤣 Ofc she isnt going to talk bad about them to me.

Working at Disney in the parks was full of drama, although really fun. I imagine this would be the same, probably even worse since the guides all know each other, even from California to Florida and you have them trying to "steal" members to make a sale. I know id be pissed 🤣
