Actually, that brings another question - if I purchase the 125 minimum for a blue card, do I lose the blue card in 2042 when the contract ends? I own resale AKL now, no blue card.

Yes as soon as your Direct HHI points expire in Jan of 2042 you would lose Blue Card status.

What is the price of CCV direct ?

As someone else pointed out to me, CCV is is tough one to own at if you want a Studio.

They have 32 cabins, which are very expensive to book. This means that there are a lot of CCV members who are battling with each other to book Studios.

I own at CCV...I haven't had any issues getting a 2 bedroom even in December (but you have to have your trigger finger ready right at 8AM for December rooms)...grand villas can be tough though certain times of the year as there are only 4 of them total (i believe the fewest of all the DVC resorts besides Grand Californian).

I would be ready to book a studio there right at 8AM at 11 month window. Last 2 weeks of January and February you might have a little bit of leeway and end of May. It is very competitive year round though.
