Did they really change the Dining plan for DVC members? It appears that the plan is different from the plan that one would receive from booking through Disney directly!!! All the downtown restaurants have been removed as well as some others in the parks.
I have to say that Disney, in my opinion, have hurt themselves over the last few years. In the short run they have benefited with increased bookings,
larger park attendance, and busier restaurants. In the long run I feel they are losing the "magic" and families are going less frequently if they return for a visit at all.
I have been to Disney every year for the last 15 and I think my upcoming trip will be my last for the next many years. Our Disney trips have become to stressful needing to plan out every minute of everyday including when we're going to be hungry 6 months in advance.
I just returned from Universal and stayed at the Hard Rock. The experience was better then any trip to Disney in the last 5 years. I'm curious if anyone else is feeling the same way? Maybe Im getting old and cranky
