DVC dining plan & SOG park tickets??

We are getting our park hopper admission tickets at Shades of Green when we arrive in June. This won't affect my ability to use the dining plan option, will it? I thought I read somewhere that the dining plan is attached to Magic Your Way park tickets as part of a package???

We are staying 10 nights at OKW (first time).

For cash reservations through CRO the dining plan has to be purchased with tickets as a package. For DVC members staying on points at DVC resorts there is no park ticket requirement, you may purchase your tickets anywhere you like.
